Protea Sodcutter 460 Heavy Duty (18” cut) Commercial Utility Sodcutter with Kohler 9HP Engine 

The cutting width of the Protea Sodcutter is 18″ or 460mm. This is the standard size for instant lawn. The machine is driven by “V” belts only. No expensive gear box to maintain, just 3 “V” belts. Depending on the condition of the ground, the machine should be able to cut 1500m2 – 2000m2 per day.

The machine is fitted with an 9HP Engine with a 6:1 reduction gearbox – very powerful and robust.

• Triplex “V” Belts are used for cutting and driving.
• Cutting Time: Up to 2000m2 per day
• Studded rubberized rollers, giving firm grip on all surfaces
• 8HP/9HP Engine.
• Cutting width: 460mm (18″).
• Depth is adjustable from 10 – 100mm.
• Can also be used for shaving greens.
